Our journey began in the historic city of Kannauj, widely known as the Perfume Capital of India, where the centuries-old tradition of natural attar making continues to flourish.
The foundation of this remarkable legacy was laid by Late Lala Bhola Nath Khatri, whose passion for capturing the pure aroma of flowers, herbs, woods, and the famous Mitti Ki Khushboo transformed traditional perfume making into an enduring heritage.
The Story Behind Us
Kannauj Attar Wale was born from a simple belief that true fragrances should come from nature—not laboratories.
As synthetic perfumes became increasingly common, our family chose to preserve the original art of traditional attar making instead of following shortcuts.
For more than five generations, our artisans have perfected the ancient Deg Bhapka Distillation Process, an age-old technique that slowly extracts fragrance from flowers, sandalwood, herbs, roots, spices, and even the earth itself.
Every drop of fragrance is crafted with patience, dedication, and respect for nature, ensuring an experience that is pure, luxurious, and deeply connected to Indian heritage.
